Rules and Policies

To ensure a quality camping experience for all guests, please abide by all rules and policies of Tellurian Campground.  By making a reservation with Tellurian Campground, guests agree to abide by all rules and policies of Tellurian Campground.

Failure to comply with these rules and policies may result in the termination of your stay.  If you are asked to leave by the owners or representatives of Tellurian Campground and do not do so promptly, you will be considered trespassing and charges will be pursued.

Waiver of Liability:  All guests are required to sign the Tellurian Campground Waiver of Liability.  Anyone on Tellurian Campground property who has not signed the Tellurian Campground Waiver of Liability will be considered to be trespassing.

Protection of Property:  Cutting, chopping or damage of any kind to trees and plants, large or small, is strictly forbidden.  We are proud of our property and want it to remain a peaceful outdoor experience for anyone who visits.  Please help us keep the property as natural and undisturbed as possible.  Feel free to gather dead/fallen trees for firewood.

All sites are limited to a certain number of people.  All site rates include 6 guests and vehicles specified on site descriptions.  Additional parking can be supplied if necessary.

Cancellation Policy:  If a cancellation is made prior to 10 days of the scheduled check-in date, a refund will be issued minus a $15 administrative fee.  The guest is responsible for the full amount of the reservation 10 days prior to the scheduled arrival date.  A refund will not be offered 10 days or less of the arrival date. There are no exceptions for weather.  Rain checks are not available.

Fires:  Outside firewood cannot be brought onto property due to the spread of insects and disease. Firewood is readily available surrounding campsites for gathering to burn.  Firewood may be available for purchase.  Email telluriancampground@gmail.com for details.

Campfires are limited to the fire rings provided.  Fires are not to be left unattended and must be extinguished before leaving the site.  Only burn wood that will fit inside the fire ring.  Follow daily burning recommendations issued by the U.S. Forest Service and/or National Weather Service.

PLEASE, DO NOT BURN TRASH OF ANY KIND–including, but not limited to: plastic, styrofoam, aluminum, bottles, and/or glass.

Quiet hours:  Please be courtious of other visitors.  Excessive volumes on radios, televisions, musical instruments, etc., are not permitted.  Shut down of these items may be necessary depending on your proximity to other campers.  Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.  Please use generators on an intermittent basis.  Generators are prohibitted during quiet hours.

Land Management:  

• No removal of plants, trees or rocks.  

• Digging is not allowed.  

• Do not dismantle the rock fire rings.

• Do not pour out candle wax.

• Stay on marked trails.

• Pick up your trash and dispose of properly.

Please follow the "7 Leave No Trace" principles:

1.  Plan ahead and prepare.

2.  Travel and camp on durable surfaces.

3.  Dispose of waste properly.

4.  Leave what you find.

5.  Minimize campfire impact.

6.  Respect wildlife.

7. BE CONSIDERATE OF OTHER VISITORS.  Let nature’s sounds prevail.

LEAVE YOUR SITE TRASH AND DAMAGE FREE, LIKE YOU FOUND IT!

FINES FOR VIOLATIONS WILL BE IMPOSED.

Pets:  Pets on a leash are welcome. We ask that you clean up after your pet, do not leave them unattended and digging is not allowed.  Please be sure your pets are considerate of other visitors.  Pets are not allowed inside the bath house. 

Smoking:  No Smoking in the Bath House.  Please be considerate of other campers.

Check in/Check out and site availability:

• Camp only in site reserved (designated campsites).  Travel and camp on durable surfaces.

• Check in is 1:00 pm. Check out is 11:00 am.

• Please email telluriancampground@gmail.com for possibilities of early check-in or late check-out.

• If you would like to extend your stay, please check on availability for the site you are in or another site.

• If you have enjoyed your stay and would like to stay past your check out time to enjoy the property for a couple hours, please feel free to do so after you have made arrangements with staff.  Arrangements can be made to park your vehicles out of the way if your site has been booked for the same evening.

• If you have not vacated your site on day of check out by the check in time for the next visitor, a $100 fee will be incurred.  If you are have not vacated the premises by 2:00 pm on day of check out, you may be towed at your expense.

Tellurian Campground will make every effort to provide the site you reserved as advertised; however, unforeseen circumstances (i.e. utility issues) may require Tellurian Campground to request you to relocate to a different site.

Access: 

• All vehicles and trailers must be kept on roads and parking pads.  Driveways must be kept clear of parked vehicles.

• 4 wheel drive vehicles are recommended for travel trailers (but not required).

Length of Stay:  Maximum stay is 14 days per site.  If you desire to stay longer than 14 days, you must relocate to another site.

DUMPING OF WASTEWATER (GREY OR BLACK) ANYWHERE OTHER THAN DUMPSTATIONS IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN.  FINES AND FEES WILL BE INCURRED IF WASTEWATER IS DUMPED ANYWHERE OTHER THAN DUMPSTATIONS.
